Your Challange
The Process Engineer Energy provides technical/technological expertise in the daily operations of the plant. This includes analysis of the complete energy value chain of the factory i.e. forecasting needs, emission insights, energy origin and purchasing of energy. You take part in projects for electrification of the site and on providing flexibility to the grid using our existing and new assets.
Your tasks
- Identify and evaluate bottlenecks in processes, installations and equipment, make suggestions for improvement and ensure and monitor implementation after approval.
- Assist as process expert in development and engineering projects to ensure best practice and operable installations.
- Adequate safety leadership through active application of the Stop Principle and engaging in constructive (safety) dialogue with peers and employees on the shop floor and strict compliance and adherence to Nobian’s Life Saving rules Ensure compliance with laws, regulations and Nobian’s standards.
- Participate in and execute 2nd line root cause problem solving.
- Assist in monitoring, reporting and verification of both ETS and EED for the site.
Have you got what it takes
To apply for this position, you should match below profile:
- Master degree in Engineering (Physics/Mechanical/Industrial/Chemical).
- Good understanding of the (process) technical aspects of the production of steam and electricity and knowledge of gas turbine.
- Knowledge of ETS or EED is preferred.
- Min. 5 years working experience in Energy plants is preferred.
- English language at a fluent level and Dutch language is a plus.
